New Tournament Rule

Time Limit Rule Added for the 2026 Inter City Tournament

Effective for the 2026 tournament, each squad will have a defined time limit. This rule is designed to promote timely play and ensure that bowlers, tournament officials and spectators have an enjoyable and memorable tournament.

The Rule Is As Follows:

Rule #15: Squad Time Limits

The time to complete the Team Event is three hours and thirty minutes and the time limit to complete the Doubles/Singles Event is three hours and fifty minutes. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, there will be no more than six (6) bowlers per pair of lanes for the doubles and singles events. At the end of the time limit, the lanes will be turned off and bowlers will receive a zero (0) for all remaining frames not bowled. If bowling is delayed due to equipment malfunction the Time Limit will be adjusted if downtime exceeds 15 minutes.

Additional Changes to Tournament

  • Bowlers will no longer need to show their sanction cards at check in. The exceptions to this change are subs that are not known in advance of check in and anyone that we have not been able to verify their sanction thru Bowl.com.
  • Any bowler that does not have a qualified average from 24-25 season and need to use current season average, must bring a paper copy of the league standing sheet for average verification. A picture from your phone will not be accepted. We must have a paper copy. Check your confirmation form and anyone with a 225 average must bring average verification.
If you have any questions concerning these changes, please contact Ohio Women's Inter City through their emails or Facebook Messenger.
